FEATURE FRIDAY! Cecilia’s Living Room Transformation

Today we’re featuring a living room transformation done by one of my uber-talented and very sweet college friends, Cecilia. First, let me tell you a little bit about Cecilia. We met in college as we were both interior design students together. In a class of only 15 girls we all got to know each other very well and Cecilia was definitely one of the most well-liked in our class – she always had a very positive spirit. I should mention that she also did really amazing work and the rest of us were always really jealous of her renderings :). After a few years doing commercial interior design, she decided to partner with her twin sister and start a photography business. To say they have been successful in this venture would be an extreme understatement. I’ve had Cecilia take pictures of my son twice, and I’ve received so many compliments on those photos.

Cecilia is also a busy mom of three adorable boys, and she and her husband just made a big move from Des Moines to Minneapolis. In her blog post, she shares how she took her plain builder-grade living room into something fantastic. Here’s a little sneak peak, but I urge you to check out their website to get more pictures and details on the living room, especially on her stencil work.  http://ninaceciliacreativespark.com/2013/02/living-room-transformation-cecilia/

My favorite part of the room is the gallery wall with her family pictures and that amazing rug. What are your favorite parts? Let us know in the comments, and also give Cecilia a big shout out from the Moxie followers!
