Someone has a case of the Mondays, and it is me. I am over all of this rain and cold that has been lingering way too long and I am ready for playing outside, barbecuing and just plain having fun in the sun.
For my mood board I decided to do an outdoor space. If I can’t get outside to enjoy the weather, I can dream of a beautiful outdoor oasis to enjoy. Before I started pulling decor together, I new I wanted to use a bright color palette. The inspiration for the space started with the citron green owl garden table at the Grandinroad. Then from there I found the chevron pillow that defined my color palette. Once I established my direction, I hunted for items with contrasting patterns and textures that fit into my color palette. I like to use texture to create a lot of visual interest and I use color to balance and create harmony within the space. My favorites items are the yellow vintage chairs or the bar cart. Can’t you just picture lounging outside in the sun, feet up and a drink in hand. My Monday is getting better already. Happy Monday, Moxies!
